The Catholic Church is fortunate to have many wonderful resources for learning more about the Catholic Faith. Below are just a few good places to start at home.
1. The Catechism of the Catholic Church is your number one resource if you want to go to "the source". You can access it for free online and search for topics you may have questions on. If the Catechism is too intimidating, the Compendium is written in question and answer format and a little more accessible.
2. If you aren't much of a reader, Ascension Presents and Father Mike Schmitz offer many engaging and easy to watch online videos on various topics of Catholic teaching and faith.
3. Catholic Answers is another great online resource and according to their website, "the world’s largest database of answers about the beliefs and practices of the Catholic faith. Learn more about Catholicism through articles, books, videos and more.”
If you are looking to learn more in a person-to-person setting, St. Pius X also has several great options.
1. Regular Bible Studies take place for Adult Faith Formation. This is a great way to meet other people and engage in the Catholic Faith from an intellectual perspective. There is always something new to learn!
2. There are many small groups that run here at St. Pius X for various age groups and stages of life. If you are looking for a personal and intimate setting to both grow in friendship and understanding of the faith this is the place for you!
3. If you think you are interested in joining the Catholic Church, the RCIA program might be the right spot for you.
