How Can I Serve the Community?

For many of us who are not ordinated ministers or in religious life, our mission and vocation lay members of the church is to live holiness and mission out in the world.  God has given you a particular grace and mission to serve the people in which you encounter everyday in your every day activities - your job, your occupations, your family, your hobbies, etc.

God might call certain individuals to serve in parish ministries to accompany those who are coming to the parish for physical, spiritual, or emotional needs.
