You are most welcome here at St. Pius X Parish! Here at the parish, we are blessed to have a vibrant family community. We welcome crying babies and fussey toddlers at Mass. If you don't hear crying, then the parish is dying! So, don't be hesitant to bring the whole family along.
As mothers and fathers, you carry a indespensible mission in the church as heads of what St. John Paul II stressed as the "domestic church." In a letter to families, St. John Paul II quoted, "The history of mankind, the history of salvation, passes by way of the family...the family is placed at the centre of the great struggle between good and evil, between life and death, between love and all that is opposed to love. To the family is entrusted the task of striving, first and foremost, to unleash the forces of good, the source of which is found in Christ the Redeemer of man."
As a parish, we are here to accomany and encourage you as your family as you strive to become the saints that God has called you to be.
