If you are like most Christians, you might find yourself having a hard time living out your faith in this day in age. You might have friends, family members, children, spouses, who have abandoned the faith. The road to sainthood is not an easy road. If we want to stay on this path and help keep our loved ones on this path, we cannot do it alone. We need our brothers and sisters in Christ to encourage and build us up. Joining a Small Group is a great way to have the support and encouragement you need to live out the Christian life. But not only that, the heart of a small group is growing in relationship with Christ through the reading of God's Word and pondering His teachings.
There are a number of small groups in which parish members take part in or lead. Some small groups might have the intention of bringing together people of a certain demographic or interest. Some small groups are open to new members and some small groups may be at their capacity. If you would like to join a small group, pease reach out and we will help you find a small group in which will help you grow in your faith in community with others.

JESUS AND THE JEWISH ROOTS OF ADVENT ADULT FAITH FORMATION Have you ever felt that when Christmas comes around that you’re just not ready? Of all the liturgical seasons of the year, Advent is certainly the most stressful, and it may be the most confusing. Catholics seem to have a good grasp of Christmas, Lent, and Easter. But what is the deeper meaning of Advent? And how can understanding this season help us better prepare for Christmas? In this series, Dr. Brant Pitre shows how a deeper understanding of the ancient Jewish prophecies of the Messiah can help unlock the hidden meanings of the season of Advent. In this close study of the Sunday readings from the Advent lectionary, you will learn about: The Second Advent at the End of Time, Jewish Prophecies of the Messiah, John the Baptist, The Jesse Tree, The City of Bethlehem, and The Virgin Birth. No sign up required – come to one or all three sessions - $5.00 fee to cover printing of handouts and DVD The 3 week study will start the week of December 4th.
